A Word from
Matt....
Welcome
to another season with the Spartanburg Youth Theatre! I am so
excited to be serving in the new capacity of Artistic Director of SYT,
and I cannot wait to get this season underway and see what exciting
things happen.
While I am so thankful for the strides
that have been made in getting the Youth
Theatre to this level, I'm also excited to be a part of the future.
I'd like to invite you to be a part of it as well. If you're a
youth, come audition for a show, take a theatre class, work behind the
scenes designing sets, do anything you can to get involved. If
you're a parent, encourage your children to become active, and get
involved yourself! Volunteer to help with set builds or costume
design, volunteer to work backstage during a production, and we are
always appreciative of any monetary donation. No matter what your
age, be an audience member. Support our actors and the arts in our
community by attending performances of our shows. Together, we can
make the Spartanburg Youth
Theatre a theatrical destination for youth across the Upstate!

Artistic Director, Spartanburg Youth Theatre
